Why do so many people ask 'Is this boat worth this much?' or 'Is this a good boat?' How the heck would we know! We aren't there to see it, hear it, feel it, etc.
Sometimes I just want to say to these people, 'Why are you taking up forum space with this? If YOU think it's worth it, then it is.' Are they looking for justification for there emotional purchase? Or do they want to be able to say to the wife; 'The guys on the forum say it's a good deal'
My note to all those who want to know if the boat they found in someone's backyard/craigslist/pennysaver/NickelAds/ebay/classifieds/etc., is this: If YOU want the boat, and YOU think it's worth the money YOu want to spend, then buy it.
Or am I just be crotchety?
