Hey Buddy, long time no speak!

Just found out that I am travelling to Aarhus, Denmark next February. Didn't you spend time in that neck of the woods? I'm thinking about flying to Copenhagen and taking the train to Aarhus, I hear that the train ride is stunning.

Oh, and our travel gal (a good friend of mine) turned me on to the car rental place in Aarhus, Sixt.com. I asked her if I could get into something Fun and German while I'm there. Sixt has BMW 1-Series Hatches with Xdrive... YAY!

Only thing that sucks is I'm going to be there in Februrary. I heard a rumor the beaches are something to see.... and not because of the sand if you know what I mean. *wink *wink

Hey EE, Sorry I missed this . . . Actually never been to Denmark. Been toi Sweden, Germany and Holland, but never in between. If you did get to the beaches I am thinking you're going to have to be really lucky to see anything in the 30 second window of sunlight and 40+ temps. Have fun, I am thinking rotted eels and beer will be the local delicacy, but it could be blood sausage too . . :cool:

Hey Guys,

Life has been a bit hectic for me... hence the nonappearance. Not sure if you guys knew or not, but I had a daughter last December (2008). So, needless to say life has been hectic ever since.

Boat is good, didn't get out on it but once last year. Sunk $1000 into it to get all of the rubber on the stern replaced. SERIOUSLY considered selling it next year to opt for something like a camper. But wifey and I decided eh, it's paid for lets keep it and have fun. Besides, as I've been telling everyone, I refuse to have a daughter who doesn't know the difference between port and starboard.

Otherwise, we're just keeping our two businesses (mortgage and realty) despite the funky economy. Oh, and I bought a new Jeep :D

Not gone QC, When Im home I can get to Iboats, its slow tho, I only connect at 11meg. :D At the lake its a lost cause. The thing about it is I was only home 10 days in the last year. I will be pulling out to the lake in a few days, then come back to figure income tax . Maby again in Aug. when it gets unbearable hot. Otherwise Im just a retired old far+ who fishes a bunch.
