As long as I have some tie-downs to play with whyle im drinking that 30 pack. Everyone needs to remember though that if you play with your tie-downs too long the lake will be gone! Especially in Georga. As you see in the pic they guy didnt use his tie-downs cause if he would have used the tie-downs then he would have got to the boat ramp and found just a empty crater. If you waste too much time playing around with your tie-downs you will find out that the lake is going to be gone. Someone said that "the lake isnt going anywhere so why the hurry!" well thats not the case. You see the guy that was behind the one that wrecked his boat was about 25 min behind him and had his tie-downs on. Well when he got to the lake, IT WAS GONE!!!!!! So just a lesson learned. If you play around with your tie-downs too much you take the chance of the lake being gone! BUT if you dont get your tie-downs rite you take the chance of having what you see in the pics above. Which is the way he wants it... So.... He gets it! (GnR) Moral of the story is.... stop playing around with your tie-downs!

Just to update you guys, the lake is starting to come back now!!! Im stoked!! I was playing with my tie-downs yesterday and i figured i would go to where the lake was and take a look. And sure enough it was starting to come back!!! It is really like a puddle right now but the puddle is getting bigger!! Hopefully the lake will be back soon! I put a honey hole bird attractor there so that way when the lake comes back the birds will be there. The plan is, if the birds are there maybee they will eat fish eggs from some other lake or pond and poop them out on the lake that is coming back. That way once the lake is back there will be fish to fish for in the lake. I just got to be really fast with the tie-downs to get there before its gone again! Ill let you know how its going in about a week or so.

I noticed that the trailer tongue is also bent down to the pavement.

Maybe he swerved to miss a duck on the road.

no no no. you all have it wrong. he just couldnt back the trailer down the ramp and figured he'd just toss her in the bed of the truck. On the same note, when he gets to the ramp all he's got to do is back up and stop real fast. he may have a new trend goin here...

A tied down boat will come off like that in a bad wreck; a guy I know was killed this way in a head-on on a bridge.

ROFLMAO!!!!!!

i think i already replied to a thread with the same pics...............we were discussing the pros and cons of hauling your boat this way.........it will make it easier to get to the beer through what used to be the back glass...but the boat may hinder your abilities to get to all your beer since a few of the ice chests are trapped ..........

I think everyone should stop talking about their tie down straps and get to the lake before its gone! You know how those lakes are..
