Pulse, one of the greatest live albums ever recorded. Not to many vocalists can compete with David Gilmour, or guitarists for that matter.

Dark Side of the Moon was the first concert I ever attended, so it has a special place in my heart ....
I also saw them in 1980 for the "Wall" tour @ Nassau Colliseum.....

A bit of Pink Floyd's lyrics that seem to fit this forum....
From "The Post War Dream"

Tell me true, tell me why, was Jesus crucified
Is it for this that Daddy died?
Was it for you? Was it me?
Did I watch too much T.V.?
Is that a hint of accusation in your eyes?

Re: Have a Favorite Pink Floyd Album?

loaded question
final cut is very good. animals is spot one, division bell is good but ya have to be very careful or its rather depressing, obscured by the clouds will get ya laid :). and all the rest is gravy on lifes mashed taters.

like it was said before, all depends on the mood as to which floyd CD gets popped in.
some go better with head phones and old warner bros cartoons than others.
:)

Spot on Snapper, did you know that the Pulse DVD has now been released1 .. A GOTTA GET item for any Floyd fan.

One more that I would add is the Roger Water's Concert in Berlin (I think 1990) he show cases some very good acts (The Band, Van Morrison doing Comfortably Numb which I know sounds wrong but it is stunning, Cindi Lauper, Brian Adams, Snowy White and Phil Collins to mention a few). You gotta get it Spinner, I am not a big Waters fan but in this he blows me away.

The Pulse DVD is on my mental list of things to pick up when i'm out and about, and halfway thinking...

If ya'll want a really entertaining evening in front of the tube, watch "The Wall" and follow it up with "2001"..... That combination will definately bug your brain out, no drugs required...I speak from experience...
