Re: Hello!
I'd imagine your Sea-Pro will do fine and last you for some time. I ran mine for hours at a time at cruise speed making trips down the Savannah River to the river front in Savannah, GA, and back to my favorite landing on the river (a good 5 hours, round-trip). She had a 53 gallon tank, if I remember correctly, so she had some decent range...and my 150 Yamaha was not a four-stroke. I also used her alot in salt water around the Beaufort, SC, area. She never missed a beat. She stayed dry as a bone even when raining. I thought that is was neat how Sea-Pro even designed the cup holders to drain out the scuppers rather than into the bilge. As I'm sure you already know, the outboard is the "big money" in the boat. That is the piece of the boat that must be taken care of and serviced properly. The rest of the boat will almost take care of itself with routine cleaning and protection from the elements.
Though no boats hold their value very well, in my opinion the Sea-Pros seem to do relatively well in resale value in the Carolinas. They're made in Newberry, SC (actually two brothers started the company in the 1980s and sold to Brunswick for mega dollars), so the boats seem to be well-known and popular in these parts.
