I have an older Minn Kota bow mount motor, and the directional steering motor
went on it. Being monkey inclined, I took it apart, and was able to determine
that the little motor was froze up. It would get voltage from both directions,
but wouldn't turn. So, I ordered a new motor, and wired it up, and it works fine.
That is, the motor turns, but I am having a problem getting the two halves
of the steering box back together. There are about 6 pins that need to mesh,
and the drive for the steering needs to mesh.
Is there a special sequence or process that needs to be followed to get this
back together? Anybody done this before?
