NHGuy Thanks for shaking the tree a little harder for me and making me think a little differently.
I finally had some time to work on it tonight since I was majorly behind at work and have been getting home after dark.
I removed the interrupter switch screws that hold it into place but still left it wired and presto she fires right up. I adjusted the shift cables and found that the lower one is sticking and not wanting to move very easily. I have it were it will crank very easily but when I drop it into gear it cuts right off. At least I know what the problem is now. Thanks for all the help sorting this out. So on to the next issue to solve to get back on the water!

Now you see, I have a problem.. I was going to slap NHGuy, publicly, for suggesting the interrupt switch (which I would have also suggested, had I not read it in the initial post)....

Glad to hear you found it... Now you jus' gotta replace the lower shift cable ... May I suggest you start a new thread for that, if you need...

BTW, do you have the proper service manuals?
