Re: Help with Thunderbolt IV

NHGuy Thanks for shaking the tree a little harder for me and making me think a little differently.
I finally had some time to work on it tonight since I was majorly behind at work and have been getting home after dark.
I removed the interrupter switch screws that hold it into place but still left it wired and presto she fires right up. I adjusted the shift cables and found that the lower one is sticking and not wanting to move very easily. I have it were it will crank very easily but when I drop it into gear it cuts right off. At least I know what the problem is now. Thanks for all the help sorting this out. So on to the next issue to solve to get back on the water!

..... I have isolated the tach and the interrupter switch too. ....

Now you see, I have a problem.. I was going to slap NHGuy, publicly, for suggesting the interrupt switch (which I would have also suggested, had I not read it in the initial post).... :D :D :D

Glad to hear you found it... Now you jus' gotta replace the lower shift cable ;)... May I suggest you start a new thread for that, if you need...

BTW, do you have the proper service manuals?

Chris......
