Nice job, we finally got our foam and it was awful to work with. I commend you for your patience with that stuff. We ended up getting some 2 part poly foam that you can use poly resin on. The two 1qt cans we got will expand to fill our whole boat haha.

Does that increase the maximum horsepower rating for ya?:D:D

HopeSheFloats the rig is looking good...removing the jump seats really opens it up you will be thanking yourself for that down the road I'd imagine.

Plenty of room for a gas tank/batteries in there. I hear ya as far as the weather...seems like old man winter is ready to start knocking on the door around here(I live a bit north of lansing...where are you sterling heights or somewhere in that area?)...time to get ready for whitetails and ice fishing:D

Thanks Thrillhouse, and sorry to hear you had troubles...once I let mine set-up properly{about 6 hours longer than stated on the can} it was no big deal shaping it, just a mess of little tiny foam pieces left from the saw's work...hope you have better luck with the two-part poly, keep us informed for future reference!

LOL, I've been debating for days on 'doctoring' up my garage some to get in the running on the "who has the most stuff" contest ;)

Yeah we have laid in one of those voids with the 2 part, and it flows like liquid, starts to expand about 3 mins after mixing so you have to use small portions. Once it expands and cures it looks like a loaf of french bread, we did two strips next to each other to fill the whole void. Will post up pics on my thread once we flip the hull back over after paint :)

Haha no problems shaving it, I will also post a picture of our home made shaving sword, so to speak. It rests on the stringer and spans to the edge of the boat cutting the foam off pretty even to the deck height. I can't wait to get it painted so we can flip it back over.

Im a little scared to flip it back over, the boat dropped off our stand the other day, luckily my buddy held it and it only hit the ground from about an inch up. Checked it out and there were no cracks in our new glass, or outside gel coat so we think we are good to go.

Hey Tom, sorry I missed this...been winterizing the house, vehicles and the bloodstream ;). No new pics as I haven't done anything other than cover her up. Been tinkering with the motor some in the shop, but funds have been stretched atm so my guitar's been occupying my free time of late. Ever since I came to the conclusion she wasn't gonna get wet this year, my enthusiasm anchored down...5 months and counting, lol

PS: calling for near 70 degrees tomorrow{Wednesday} been out yet ?

Whaddaya play? I like to bang on a guitar from time to time myself.

Hi Mike, usually nothing recognizable{lol} but prefer rock & blues...can't play or sing a lick, but I don't let that stop me...if you meant what do I play as in make/model, I'm down to only one nowadays, a Greg Bennett Designed Avanti AV6. Lately I've been getting into a program I bought called 'Band in a box', great for creating backing tracks and/or composing original stuff, it's so addicting it's been cutting into my very needed practice time.

Enough rambling from me, what about your strings, what are they attached to, and what do they prefer sounding off to?

Same here, I don't play very well, but I enjoy it. I have a Strat & an old Princeton Reverb amp, but most often I pick up my Guild D6 acoustic when I'm in the mood to play. Same as you, blues and "classic rock" type stuff. Definitely nothing from this century

Here's a video/audio taste using that app for the backing track, and a view of my axe and playing... well playing may be stretching it some, at least I'm having fun lol

Impressive!

"...can't play or sing a lick..."
yeah, right. I had a feeling you were sandbaggin :D

That backing software does sound like it would be fun to play around with. I have something similar (I think) on a Mac, called Garage Band. Came with the computer. I should try messing around with that sometime.

Nice tie dye, by the way ;)
