Well... we've gone out a few times since my last post and I haven't had any problems. I didn't get a tune up or have work done on it at all.

I've just been letting it idle for a few minutes when we stop somewhere and leave the blower on for a few minutes longer to let in cool(er) air. So far so good. Starts right up.

Heat soak upon immediate shutdown was it?

Yup. It actually cools down about 20 degrees when I let it idle.

I have to add that I've also been "warming it up" on the driveway before heading out to the lake. Makes for an easier start on the ramp and no surprises.
