Re: hey, what happened to that thread? "...to ease tensions"

Nowhere did I threaten violence on member Txswinner. I said I would be happy to meet him. Secondly how could I put him in fear of imminent serious bodily injury? I have no idea who he is or where he's at. I told him who I am and where I'm at. As a matter of a fact after he alleged a threat was made I decided to save the thread for legal council. As a matter of a fact I saved several of the posts that have been zapped. Heres what I said- Do you see my name? Thats my real name. You see my town? No, not BF Egypt. Donie. Thats where I live. I am based on the central/east Texas line, right off of I-45. I can travel anywhere in the state needed if we need to discuss this further. Somethings just can't be comminicated through a keyboard. If you feel the same way I would be happy to meet with you in person and we can discuss just about anything you would like. I feel like it might do us both some good because it seems to me as if you have something you need to say. I know I'm feeding you what you want but you have my attention. Like I said before should you feel the need to talk on a personall level I figure I can accomadate you. I think I'll stop here. I further explained to him in a later post of the same thread- I didn't threaten you Tx. I said I would be happy to meet with you. You are reading too much into it. This forum discourages non family-friendly talk. I had some things to say to you that would get me booted from here. Now if you attacked me afterwards then I geuss we would fight but I wasn't looking for one. I realize that you didn't ask for forgiveness, I gave it to you anyhow. I realized YOU might be under some type of stress that I didn't know about and just blasted me for no reason. People live different lives. I am sure that yours and mine are different. I have no way of knowing what you were going through when you made your original post. You did have a good idea of what I was going through though. Thats what angered me so much.

To me he just wants to see this thread get shut down. I personally believe he is doing everything he can to irritate me. He can't. He hurt me about as bad as he could when he made fun of Scotty dying. Anything else is just water off a ducks back.

I have not started any more threads since November 23, 2005 07:40 and have only replied to his posting on November 29, 2005 07:49 PM to which I replied at November 29, 2005 08:11.
He started a thread November 29, 2005 07:52 to which I did not reply. The thread was closed shortly after. I will not allow member Txswinner to upset me.

Sure hate to see this thread get knocked down too.

Someone has to say this. This is the most pathetic, childish, weak, shallow, worthless, sorry excuse of a situation I have ever seen. Shame on all of us. We call ourselves grown men? Txswinner, you came back to take cheap shots at a man who volunteers his time to manage a bunch of grown boat nuts of all stripes, because someone called you a name. I saw the whole thing unfold. There is no excuse for your behavior.

I FOR ONE WOULD LIKE TO APOLOGIZE TO JB AND IBOATS AND THE MEMBERSHIP FOR MY BEHAVIOR THE PAST COUPLE OF WEEKS. I AM ASHAMED OF MYSELF. I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO STATE THAT I THINK YOU FOLKS PROVIDE THE PREMIER SITE IN THE INDUSTRY FOR US FREE OF CHARGE TO COME TOGETHER AND ENJOY EACH OTHERS COMPANY AND EXCHANGE IDEAS AND VIEWS. IN THIS HOLIDAY SEASON OF GOOD WILL AND PEACE TOWARDS MAN IT IS UNBELIEVABLE THAT A SITUATION AS DETAILED ABOVE COULD OCCUR.

JB YOU HAVE BEEN THE CONSUMATE PROFESSIONAL, EVENHANDED AND EVEN COMPASSIONATE IN YOUR DUTIES AS OUR MODERATOR. YOUR INNER STRENGTH TO NOT RESPOND TO INTENSIONAL ANTAGONISTIC ATTACKS IS ADMIRALABLE. THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE, AND YOUR TOLERANCE. YOUR SACRIFICE IS OUR ENJOYMENT AND SOMETIMES WE FORGET. THANK YOU

Re: hey, what happened to that thread? "...to ease tensions"

Thanks for your opinion. hOWEVER, it is obvious you have no clue about what is going on.
You must not know either....
Name calling is not a problem, but as for JB calling names then censoring others does not seem right.
It's NOT right and JB doesn't do that...pay attention to what is being said.

The other problem however, is very serious, calling others out is not acceptable and it out of my hands either way.
This is a public forum....do you honestly think folks are always going to agree with EVERYTHING you say??? I think not...
We try to step in when things get out of hand, but "sometimes" it could have been avoided in the first place if you would realize not all think alike...there are NO favorites here, including you......and me.

I would like to second everything that pointer said we disagree on a lot of things but not on the fact that J.B.does a very good job on this board.

And would like to give a big 10-4 on the fact that TX came here to give a cheap shot.As a matter of fact JB Poofed out some of the words that was on a post that included the fact that you were cheapshotting Big b so I guess one would say JB was shielding you from some derogortory comments from me.Of course I included some other terms .

No problem with disagreement or you expressing opinions of my remarks but on other hand do you think when one gets made they should call someone out to meet them. That is what sounds like school boy calling out. Anyway matter is no longer in my hands, action or none action is not my decision.

Re: hey, what happened to that thread? "...to ease tensions"

No, I saw the event from the moment you took your cheap shot with a political response to an emotional thred at Big B, the ensueing exchange, Big B's new thread back, the deletions, then the name calling and finger pointing, then more name calling, and now the disclosure of legal involvement. I saw the event as it unfolded. I know what is going on, and your behavior was, is, and continues to be disgraceful. Shame on you. SHAME ON YOU.

If you find my response threatening and you wish to file suit against me, my email is in my profile. Keep your legal matters off public boards. I'm done with this.

Great opinion, but no shame, how many times have you been involved in people writing a direct thread to another wanting to meet them to discuss a disagreement. High noon is over and if I felt you were a threat to my person I would handle the matter the same way I handled this. By the way, I am not asking for your approval and in fact looks like you stuck your nose into business that did not involve you.

For the record txswinner, Jb did NOT call you a whiner. I read the thread just before if was zapped. What he told you to do was, use the contact button and not post your whines (same as complaints) on the forum.
