Ask your friendly local lumber yard if they can special order marine grade plywood if that's what you want. My 84 Lumber will order it for me but they won't stock it, of course.

well got the transom all glued up, the rest of the top part of the boat sanded and all the crap swept out of her today. dang rain is slowing things up.need to order some drain plugs, figured i should put the transom back in first, figure out how to make up a splash well and then gluvit the inside then take her off the trailor and finish sanding and then paint.

i had glued up the transom the other day

traced it out

got a full coat on both sides did half last night and flipped her today

One piece transom is about a thousand times better than the three original three piece version.

okay been looking at seat bases, why don't they say what size the pole is to fit in them ough.
been looking at these and i have no idea.

Figuring out what seat bases go with what posts is about as big of a hassle as understanding the IRS tax code.:facepalm:

well got two full coats on the transom, seems like a day a side. going to barrow a tent for the floors that way i can do all three sections at once and save time and epoxy.

well it has been going slow, seems like i am having problems with getting a title in my name. when i bought the boat the guy selling it too me signed the title and then gave me 2 receipts for the sale of the boat. well he never had the title in his name and signed it where i should have. now the guy will not return my calls to get the paper work done. so i have not been doing much of anything with it. but since i started the transom i figured i would just finish it. so i have it all installed today.

now that i have a attorney involved hopefully the guy will just meet me down at the dmv and get this paperwork done. augh!!!
