Re: How do I clean 1990 Force 120 Carbs????
i have found the best way to clean carbs is to pull them off, and take off the float, needle and idle mix screw and soak them over night, then hit them compressed air to blow out all passages within the carb, just be carefull not to bend the tabs on the float when disassembling and the float adjustment should be the same, you'll have to adjust the idle mix screw when you get it back on the motor. ive done quite a few carbs this way with good results and they worked great. auto parts stores sell a gallon of carb & parts cleaner, just soak em, blow em out put em back together they'll work and look like new
