how much deflection should a driveshaft have on a 2008 DF150

i have a 2008 DF 150 with a clunking when it is in gear. It is a constant clunk, clunk. clunk in forward or reverse. There is no metal in the oil, but there is about 1/8 of a turn on deflection in the drive shaft when in gear. I was wondering what the acceptable amount of deflection is and is this possibly a shim problem or a problem in the clutch? The motor only has about 60 hours on it. At the very least if someone has a link to the manual for this motor that would be great!

Are you speaking about the drive shaft or the prop shaft?
Click on the Suzuki manual at the top of the page to find one for your motor.
looks like they are just to 2007

Does the clunking go away above idle?
