My vote is for cleaning vinegar it has always worked for me, nontoxic.

and don't buy the generic or discount bleach. Most if not all of those do not have the concentration % that name brands do.

Sheesh.....simple and cheap cleaning vinegar works wonders and safe to use. With all the rain and extreme temp swings we have been having some mold issues. A spray bottle with 6% cleaning vinegar gets sprayed onto the mold and next day it is gone. Wipe off or spray off, depending the surface and done. Areas that were sprayed last year ( wood windows) has not come back this year, at least not yet. The vinegar will not harm vinyl, paint or any other surface I have found.

I spray it on full strength and heavy, let sit overnite. If mold is heavy I will use a brush to loosen it up, rinse and repeat. The acid of the vinegar kills the mold, also works great on bugs!
