Can someone tell me hoe to remove the throttle shaft from the engine side of my 1988 Force 50 hp outboard? I noticed that the line on the roller and the throttle "plate" don't line up like they're supposed to per the Clymer manual and it states to take the throttle shaft off the engine side to move the throttle plate forward until it just touches the roller. It also says not to remove it fron the throttle side as damage could result. It looks like a ball stud with the coupler going over the ball, but I don't want to just pry it off if that's not the right way.
