The keel line of this boat is very long and straight, with a sharp "V" at the planing point (not much lift). And if you notice, the shape of the stern lines look like the hull would actually force the bow down, as you are experiencing. This is a very nice boat, but it looks more like it is designed, not for speed and planing, but for cutting through the waves rather than riding on top of them.<br /><br />It's rated for a 50 hp max. A 25 hp just isn't going to be enough (even though they say 15 hp min). And by the looks of the hull, trimming affects with the outboard alone could be tough to accomplish.<br /><br />It simply looks like this boat is not designed to plane with a 25 hp.
