Pony, if you and I are both running for the elevator and I step on the back of your shoe and give you the old 'flat tire', did I interfere with your ability to get to the elevator? I believe it was interference. Having said that, I hate the interference rule, it should be a max of 15 yards like in college.

The T.O. getting stripped of the ball call was a bad one. That stupid forward progressed stopped rule they put in this year is to blame.

The real travesty of the game was Bryant Gumbell. It was halfway through the first quarter before he could tell which team was the Packers. With the temper Collinsworth seems to have, I wonder if he didnt slap the dork in the head during a commercial.

I agree....Bryant Gumbel was horrible. I almost feel lucky now that I don't have the NFL network. To make matters worse, I find his voice to be quite annoying.

I also agree on the 15 yard penalty suggestion.

You guys have a good, if not great team down there. I think these two teams will be having quite a number of these meetings in the coming seasons. Its nice to see two powerhouses from the 90s back in form.

Hopefully we will meet again this year. Should be a great game if we do......

I think the Lions played a very good game. . .a game they deserved to win.

But you put the Cowboys in a "gotta score or lose the game" situation and they probably score.

We used to call Roger Stauback "Captain Comeback", but that is twice this year that Tony Romo and Company have trailed the entire game and won with under a minute to play.

Cowboys suck... NFL Officiating sucks worse. Many teams have been boned by these arses this year.

Lions played well and lost, KG. Cowboys played mediocre except for a few drives but won the game. Live with it.

If 12-1 sux, then I'll take sux.

He's just being (in his words) a 'typical' cowboys fan.

The cowboys are good this year -- after so many bad ones, it's about time. But, it's annoying how everyone that likes a team when they are winning, are suddenly cowboy's fans. And, if you ask them, they'll tell you 'I've always been a cowboy's fan.' They just didn't admit it in the rotten years.

Pony was clearly being a gracious loser, and the statement went something like this: ". . . most of the time the loser's fan have a yabut or two."

Typical... they can't be happy that they won the game, they have to be demeaning as well.

Not everyone in NE behaves with such vulgar lack of class. I take it back.

Perhaps Pony was being gracious while whining about a call, but that is what I call a yabut.

I agree that the Cowboys have a lot of fair weather fans, but there are diehards among us who root for them every year. . .win or lose.

Yes, Bro Haut. The Seahawks are very good; so are the Packers, but either or both will have to beat the Cowboys to get a(nother) shot at the Patriots. . .or maybe the Colts.

We shall see what happens, and we who refrain from bold predictions will not have any egg on our faces.

well i am up here with all the colts fans. man do i hate it. although they do have the right colors. The cowboys are in my mind the best team around. always have and always will. can't wait for the super bowl and see them play.

My f-i-l and I didn't get to the game (tv) until half time. He said we were playing poorly and we were getting beat'n badly. I told him the game would come down to the last minute.

I was sooooooooo right.

It came down to the last 18 seconds.
I felt that the Lions gave this one away, two dropped passes in the endzone, missed fieldgoal, letting Dallas go in untouched on 4th and 1, kicking a fumble on Dallas' last drive instead of falling on it.
I wonder how many decades till there's a thread titled "How'bout them Lions"?

I am not sure I was "whining" about those calls. I simply wanted the home team fan's perspective. I have reread my posts pretty thouroughly and don't beleive I implied they were the reason the game was won or lost. I am not sure how many times I have to say that the Cowboys were the better team, or that it was a good game. Sure I am dissapointed that my team lost, but "whining".........gve me a break. It was a penalty btw.....but incendental contact has far different ramifications than interference. I was just looking to discuss a good game......not whine

The Boys won this week, but not because of officiating. If the Lions wanted to win that game, then they should have recovered that fumble or stopped them on 4th down on the next play.....just like GB should have stopped them on 3rd and 19 inside the 5 etc etc etc. Good teams find a way to win.

The only thing I will say is that Wade might have been using a tad bit of hyperbole in comparing Romo to Elway. I would want to see him win a few playoff games and get to the SB before I made that comment. He is a great QB and seems to be the franchise for Dallas..................but its been1 year and we need to remember that. We all thought Phillip Rivers was a stud after last year......ask SD fans how that is going.

Now.......How bout them Vikings? Now there is a scary team all of a sudden.
