Re: How'bout them Cowboys?

The Eagles are a much better team than their record shows. They almost beat NE, and they have had the toughest schedule in the division.

The Eagles defense played brilliantly today. It would have been a tough game even if Romo's accuracy had been on, which it wasn't.

I thought the Cowboys defense was very good. Good enough to win a game when the offense performed well, which it didn't.

I seem to have predicted that if their luck was on the Eagles could beat the Cowboys. They didn't need luck today, they earned it.

However, I wouldn't call losing 10-6 "crashing down".

Several of our boastful and arrogant members are going to eat a lot of crow if NE doesn't win the Super Bowl.

This could get quite interesting as N.E. while still winning is not dominating. Same thing seems to be happening to Dallas. This point in the season usually favors the teams that are "jelling". N.E. and Dallas are still the teams to beat but I think the pot has been stirred.
The Chargers and the Packers are starting to feel juiced.
Yes, I admit to a bias but what can a guy do? :D

Boy, if this isn't the pot calling the kettle black.... :D I seem to remember a remark from someone to the effect of telling someone he had "........Typical NE manners".

Well, thanks to the Seahawks losing the 'Boys locked up the bye week. NFC East games are always tough, the Eagles played a good game and deserved the win.

I was thinking the same thing about the Seahawks. Thanks for the bye week gift. Both the Cowboys and Packers appreciate it :D
You're welcome!.....
Yes, they were pathetic.....
If we get past the first round, I will be surprised.....
They snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.....

Re: How'bout them Cowboys?

I wouldn't blame this loss on Romo's accuracy.......Wade should have run the ball more. If you look at the Cowboy's losses and the near loss at Detroit, there is a clear correlation in how many carries Barber has. Its pretty simple really. When the QB is struggling you need to run the ball and take the pressure off. Maybe that keeps Romo from forcing the ball to TO.

Also when exactly is Wade going to learn the rules of the game and stop wasting your timeouts. Someone may want to let him know that a receiver going to the ground on his own needs to maintain control the whole time. That is textbook word for word in the rule book. That was perhaps the worst challenge I have seen a coach make since he did the EXACT same thing in that Packers game.

If the Eagles had AJ Feeley in there, it wouldn't have been so close.....................oh wait, that was a yabut wasn't it.

LOL........I hope they do though. I would rather see the Packers play the Seahawks than the Vikings for a 3rd time this year.

YABUT if it weren't for some bad calls, Romo not being able to hit a barn door, Wade forgetting about Barber and, most of all, evil spirits. . .

The Eagles would have probably won anyway.

I just hope that the Cowboys don't do in these last two games what the Mavericks did last year.. .coast, and forget how to win when the playoffs come along.

You get a safety, but it is reviewed and the ref wants to wave it off, but has pity on you, so he compromises and gives you 1 instead of 2 ?:confused::confused:
