Hi
My friend has a Hummingbird 967c that came off his boat that he sold and he wants to sell it to me.
The thing is the wiring for it wasn't taken out with the unit and went with the boat.
My question is do they sell the wiring harness with the sensor separate?
Is this a good fish finder and should I buy it for $500 with out the wiring harness?

Thanks for he help.

John S thanks for all the links!

but is it still worth getting after everything is purchased would you think the $746 price is worth it for this fish finder/Sonar?

Myself, I haven't used the 3D models. They don't seem as popular as 2D or SI.
I don't know what their used value is. Didn't find any listed or sold recently on ebay. That is still less than 1/2 of the original list price.

What type of fishing and water do you boat on?

Re: Hummingbird 967c wiring

I do a little lake fishing but mostly ocean fishing.

I didn't find any for sale on eBay either.
Maybe I should ask him to lower the price a little bit :) to help cover the cost of the new components.

Sorry, I don't have any saltwater experience. Just freshwater lakes and rivers.

If it was a SI unit, I'd jump all over it.

You might also find out he has some of those parts, like the unit mount and connector assembly. Maybe even the gps receiver.

I don't have any experience with that model but I have the 798c SI. I wish it had the bigger screen. The components do add up if you have to buy them separately, but it's probably still worth it. Humminbird support is good. I've flash updated my unit 3 times since I've had it. Chances are it's registered in his name, if he registered it, but he can just give you that info so you can get software updates for it.
