Re: I am STUMPED! please HELP!
Hope I'm not too late...
May I also suggest taking a good look at the tip of the needle while it's out. Any kind of bending, file marks, or a very blunt end is an indication that either someone has seated the needle too hard, or someone has tried a tool shed repair to fix a bad needle. The angle of both the needle and the orifice (#35) is a critical relationship that needs to be just right to get the correct fuel mixture. If the needle is blunt, bent, or broken, and or the jet (#35) is out of round, it will richen up your mixture by allowing excess fuel to be metered by.
Okay I will be taking a look here in a minute. Thank you
