I finally got Pics, So I'll Finally say Hello

I bought my first boat this spring and have loved every minute of it. Tried to launch my first time and killed the (5 year old) Battery. Was warned that it was a possibility, so drove up and had it replaced. Haven't had an issue since. Read and learned alot here and tried to give back where I can.

1976 Starcraft Holiday 18' I/O
120 Mercruiser
ALL ORIGINAL / except swim platform and fish finder(installed 10 years ago)

1st Owner - garage kept. Went Boating in TN 1 Week a year and no wet bathing suits (or people) allowed.

2nd Owner - garage kept. Begged original owner for boat. Installed Swim platform and fish finder. Went Boating in TN 2 Weeks a year.

3rd Owner - Me - See Pics.
Still have original 1976 sales brochure for starcraft, and trailer. (including original reg #'s on boat) I am the only boat on the local lake with a 3 digit reg #, becuase of local transfer.

Thanks to all of you, I have found a great and solid boat that I have not had any problems with to date (knock on wood)

Thanks, It was truly taken care of. I even have the original sale receipt from the first owner. I got lucky, I admit, but I know it will look the same whenever I decide to sell it. It's like getting a classic car, the looks you get are priceless. And I've never seen another like it on the same lake.

Yeah, I like those old '70s boats. have a '71. Harvest Yellow (see color in post pic) and I've never seen another boat like it. OK condition, not as good as yours. I get a lot of looks too, but I'm not sure if they're thinking "wow, nice looking classic boat" or "what the **** is that piece of **** doing out on the lake?"

nice boat!!!!!!!!! need a favor can you post a picture of the speedometer sender on th back of boat? I have a 73 super sport and mine sender is broke off and need to see what the original looks like. closeup would be great and some pics of interior would be great.

That is one of the nicest boats on the site. Some engine pics would also be great. Where do your blower hoses mount at the bottom. Most boats are trashed at that age. Great referance boat.

Great lookin boat wolfe. I have a '72 open with the 120 merc I/O in it I'm working on, but I'm missing some hardware from when I got it. Is there any chance you could get a couple of pics of yours for me? What I need is a couple pics of any hardware on the top rails of your boat from the vents/windshields to the stern. I'd greatly appreciate any help.

Wow that boat is in great shape. I have a 1973 starcraft holiday with the 120 I/O merc and it is an awsome boat. Good hull design and economic to run. I bought mine on Ebay cheap and have been remodelling bit by bit. I have attached some pictures as well, before and after shots.
