I bought my first boat this spring and have loved every minute of it. Tried to launch my first time and killed the (5 year old) Battery. Was warned that it was a possibility, so drove up and had it replaced. Haven't had an issue since. Read and learned alot here and tried to give back where I can.
1976 Starcraft Holiday 18' I/O
120 Mercruiser
ALL ORIGINAL / except swim platform and fish finder(installed 10 years ago)
1st Owner - garage kept. Went Boating in TN 1 Week a year and no wet bathing suits (or people) allowed.
2nd Owner - garage kept. Begged original owner for boat. Installed Swim platform and fish finder. Went Boating in TN 2 Weeks a year.
3rd Owner - Me - See Pics.
Still have original 1976 sales brochure for starcraft, and trailer. (including original reg #'s on boat) I am the only boat on the local lake with a 3 digit reg #, becuase of local transfer.
Thanks to all of you, I have found a great and solid boat that I have not had any problems with to date (knock on wood)
