KM,
Starcraft used some stuff called Plyobond in all the seams. It was made by Goodyear so we just assume it is a rubber based material. And personally, if you have this rig completely apart, I would apply Gluvit. You'll sleep better at nite....Do yourself a favor. Take an hour or so and read thru the condensed version of the beginning of my rebuild on the COMPLETED restorations forum. It may prove helpful to you.

Great to have an elevated deck.... Flying Starchief ;) Excellent.... Looks like Pop approved of the plan, where did the Admiral stand on the deck rigging?

Seems like I've seen a flying Starcraft before...

I guess I got a deck boat lol. He kept a good eye onthe the operation lol. He got an idea on making a make shift garage. We are going to use tarps and close her in to keep her dry

As long as no billy's got hurt, operation hillbilly worked out perfect.

BTW: It is by no means the most hillbilly hull removal from a trailer at iboats ;)

Besides, keeping them talking about the hillbilly-ness of it, keeps 'em busy & from looking for the brown delivery van packages ;)

You can post all your rebuild questions here & you'll get answers:

Epoxy w/ epoxy specific fiberglass cloths (must be protected from UV w/ paint or spar)

Epoxy (must be protected from UV w/ paint or spar)

Vinylester Resin & VE specific fiberglass cloth (must be protected from UV w/ paint or spar)

Polyester Resin w/ poly specific fiberglass cloth (CSM, 1708) (must be protected from UV w/ paint or spar)

Porch paint ~ Spar varnish ~ Spar urethane ~ Rustoleum ~ Majic (tractor supply brand paint that replaced Valspar Farm & Implement paint)

In order of expense and strength/longevity. Up to you. All require various degrees of upkeep & maintenance. Epoxy will be longest lasting & strongest. But will cure slower then poly resin. Poly resin is less water-proof then epoxy. Porch paint & the others will be very readily available, easy to use, and dry reasonable fast, but will require more frequent re-application.

Help?

I'll drop this back here too:
I bought 40 pool noodles, hope this is enough. How should I put them in? NEED SOME INPUT

Have a good end of the week, TGIF doesn't even come close...
