It says its a Thermo King with a label that says Sea Going but its got a tag on that says 1970 Starcraft hull . I appreciate anything you guys can tell me.

Thermo King is a truck reefer co. but they make Seagoing units for containers (ships) too. Maybe a P.O. stuck it on the boat because he thought it looked neat. Forgot to say welcome aboard! And good deal, too.

Thanks for the welcome . My other boat is a 82 MR180 . Im currently putting a floor in it and doing some updates . Im putting a 82 115 tower of power on it .

That 'Thermo King' sticker is pretty neat. The hull ID tag definitely does not look factory. I would guess the original went missing and a previous owner had that one made.

Could be this is the number an owner got issued when they started requiring HIN numbers on boat for registration purposes. I just bought a 59 Whitehouse Dolphin with a California DMV issued HIN number. It starts with CFZ (California Home Built). Mine is currently regisitered in Nevada with the Department of Wildlife to a former owner that lived in Idaho and is now deceased. Whooo Doggie this is gonna be fun to get reg'd. My bet is that Thermo King had nothing to do with it and that sticker is off something else. That boat is definitely a StarCraft or MonArk and to the best of my knowledge the family never did any remarketing of their boats. I could be completely wrong so if you really want to know, shoot an email off to StarCraft. They are really good about responding.

I talked with a lady at Thermo King and sent her some pictures . She said shes going to ask some of the old timers and see if they know anything about it .

I was informed that the Thermo King Sea Going decals were used on their reefer containers for going over seas . Someone must have thrown the decal on back in the 70s .
