Based on last summer I made many mods

I got a new jumper box dedicated to the boat
I added cigarette lighter plugs to the Gps
I got a set of seat clamps
I got two fishing seats
A Bimini top

I change the seating configuration based on what I'm doing on a given day.
I originally had the rear fishing seat on a Marine Cooler.
I may go back to that
I'm waiting for the glue to dry for the pads I put done for the Bimini. I'm going to order some real glue tomorrow

This is a reclining seat for. my wife. She doesn't fish

This is a 11 pound Propane Tank.
It's about 2 1/2 gallons
Now before you laugh understand that the 1 pound tank is good for 1 hour and 15 minutes at half throttle or 30 minutes wot
The 11 pound tank is good for 12 hours at half throttle and 5 hours wot

The most propane I used in one trip last summer was 2. 1 pound bottles
Per request a video of the motor running
I didn't run it long because it is Water cooled
I have to get a large bucket or drum to run it longer

All the mods you have I will hopefully add sometimes this season. I need a second bench. Then these will be my mods.

1) i need a bravo pump.
2) second bench with seats.
3) Bimini top
4) Bow bag
6) Have an awesome anchor system but will change it from plastic reel to metal and will buy an anchor tie off patch
6) this is more future: front wheel for easier launch and return

These are not in order but Bravo pump an tie off patch is next paychecks order of business

WHERE DO I GET THAT RECLINER@!!!!

Re: I think I went mod crazy

I got the Recliner from West Marine
They are the only people who sell it.
The Zodiac Benches cost far to much money, which is why I was using the cooler.
I made a bench today, but it mounts on top of the tubes.
It cost me a whole $12
I need to put some eye hooks in it to make sure it's tied down.
I also have to paint it and make it water proof
I made the bench 58 inches. That way it sits on both tubes where I have it anchored.
I ordered a seat storage bag for it but it hasn't arrived yet.

I got the pump from sea eagle on sale a lot cheaper than the normal price.
The great thing about the Bravo Pump is the fact that it shuts itself off after it reaches the desired pressure in the tubes or the floor.
To inflate my boat complete with Airfloor and Keel is 15 minutes.
I'm usually putting everything else together while it is inflating the boat.
Since you don't have an air floor you should be done in 10 minutes or less

This pump works better than the electric pump I got from Zodiac, but it's not as fast

I think i missed your answer from other threads but my question was when you take your propane to the store to get refilled do they do it right away?

I did miss the post.
Yes
I never have a problem getting tanks filled
You can goto Uhaul
Tractor Supply
Ace Hardware
Any RV store

A worse case is doing a tank exchange.
For me a 20 poundctank was overkill
The 11 pound tank is the perfect size for my boat.
The 11 pound tank I own outright. It is refill only.

I did some research and it showed the lehr. 9.9 is about 10lb heavier then the 9.9 mercury. Any idea why??

Are you sure?
Mercury has three 9.9 hp motors.
The first two outweigh the Lehrer by 10!pounds
The last one is 5 pounds lighter than the Lehrer 9.9

I'm going to the boat show this weekend I can try and find out for you.
I just hope I don't buy anything else

Does that seat clamp work OK on an the aluminum bench? I thought they would be kind of wobbly. Was looking into one of those aluminum frames that sit on the floor from iboats.

You can tighten it down as much as you need.
I didn't have them fully tightened as I was experimenting with seat placement
I am going to cut the excess rods off.
I also added some foam to make sure there is no rattle.
I got these from Wally for $28
I really think it is easier to just get the swivels and permanently mount them to the bench.
They are only $15 a piece.

Wasn't so much worried about the seat clamp itself wobbling, as I was the bench rocking on the tubes.

The bench on the tube actually has eye bolts that attach to a point on the tubes with a safety strap.
I am debating between the bench and just using a cooler with the fishing seat mounted.

If that motor has an impellar I wouldn't recommend running it dry even for a second. If it does have an impellar it is now time to visually inspect it or replace it. I have seen them come apart in about the timeframe that the motor shown was running, and first time out it overheated on the guy. I towed them back to the ramp. The impellar is cooled and lubricated by a constant flow of water over it.

Agreed
I have since run it in a bucket of water to make sure it's ok

if you have 2 benches, tie them together with a piece or two
of square aluminum tube running between them
( like that kid did in his video on the Saturn SD 365 web page, visible starting at ~3:50)
( or Inflatable Boat and Trailer setup - YouTube )

for in the field assembly / disassembly, there is always the old wing-nut

Re: I think I went mod crazy

No need for the rail.
My seats don't wobble.
Also my boat does not live on a trailer.
Everything I have done is portable
I can get from the parking lot to the water in under 30 minutes
