In the recent passing of a much respected and knowledgeable member, Tashasdaddy, I was thinking of a way that we could consolidate our knowledge areas in case someone comes in here, is new, a little nervous about asking a question, they could PM that person with the knowledge about that subject area. I know, we always speak about "post it in the forum so everybody can learn." Well, some people don't feel comfy doing that and while I recommend people make a thread about their question, some members get upset that they didn't use the "search" function and they posted a previously-answered question.
Since I would rather a new member get the help they need than the hard time that they don't, I've decided to make a thread so our regular posters can list their knowledge areas so people can PM them with a question.
Please note, if you do post your knowledge areas in this thread, that means you don't mind people pm'ing you with their questions.
I'm hoping that TD can live on via this post, because he was so helpful to everyone that we could, in his passing, organize our knowledge areas so our members can still get some help when they need it, and via PM, if they want it.
It is my sincere hope that the mods can make this a sticky, so it doesn't get lost forever.
My knowledge areas in order of strength:
1. Computers (building, fixing, etc)
2. Airplane maintenance
3. RC airplanes, helis, boats and cars
4. Scooters and motorcycle riding issues
5. Vehicle maintenance
6. Boating maintenance (this means I know very little)
Somewhere in there is electrical knowledge. Probably 3.5.
