That's interesting Rob....even more so because I usually have CBC radio playing in the background from their website...and it probably was running when I posted that.
Hmmm...bit of a fluke or is CBC (Radio Nationale') up to something?;):) (another secret separatist plan):D

OK... But you didn't mention anything about all the polymers and silca tubing. How much experience do actually have with this type of apperratus to be making such a suggestion? And you failed to disclose everything necessarry to complete the unit... NEGLIGENCE!!!:mad::facepalm:

I know we should apologize to puddle jumper for all this ribbing, but as you can see with his French Connection he has not yet been able to download all this and read it.

True Aluminum Hat connoisseurs use several layers to achieve the desired results. The average thickness is about 0.013 and they know the typical shielding effectiveness of aluminium foil for a 100 MHz Spectrum is 80 dB per standard mil. The closer to the equator you are the thicker it needs to be. There are some theory's about a glancing blow as opposed to a direct hit. Despite popular beliefs there is no discernible difference between shiny side in or out, it's more of a fashion statement being made. The truly fashionable use the colored foils to compliment other fashion choices. Next time you see your buddy running around with a single layer of foil on you can bet he's still hearing those little voices in his head [french?] and you now know why.

It can be assembled with items commonly found in the home. This is my deluxe model. Repels radio waves in any language.
