As proof that my DIY-side has not been idle all this time...

Stole some of my marine plywood stash to build a couple bass amp speaker cabs over the winter:

Thanks JB!

Yeah I been seeing a lot of those cigar box guitars since McCartney played one with Nirvana at whatever that big TV event was - the hurricane benefit? I forget.

Do those speakers have a spot lined up in the Islander? :)

Since you come around so often, What do you think about doing the Annual Minnesota Starmada get together in August this year?

nice cabinet work there. and the marine ply should work well due to density and lack of voids. totally aside from resistance to spilled beer.....

glad to see you around!

You gotta have your sound up for this one:

Just a little way to commemorate the AmyAble being back in my driveway, waiting for the big brown truck to pull up in front of my house so I can get back to work....

Papa - Are you saying this a possibility when the AmyAble hits the water? I'm wondering how the tug was helping anything. Actually, I'm wondering if the crew members are ex-Exxon Valdez.

Big Brown Truck been and gone! Man, I love those folks over at Great Lakes Skipper. I placed this order almost exactly 48 hours ago. Got my fuel tanks from them too and had to send someone else to pick them up so there were a few coordination emails back and forth and they were just so friendly and helpful. Just like regular nice people should be. Got great prices on my fuel tanks and these hoses.

Okay now, back to work. I got a free beer for anyone who can guess what else I made from this sheet of 3/4"....
