Iranian leader's letter to American people: Leave Iraq

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Wednesday called for the pullout of U.S. forces from Iraq and charged that Bush administration policy is based on "coercion, force and injustice."..."With the presence of the U.S. military in Iraq, nothing has been done to rebuild the ruins, to restore the infrastructure or to alleviate poverty"

I can envision Iraq and Iran banding together and us having to eventually go to war with them.

Althogh he does have a right to be POed cause we brought the war on terror to Iraq instead of having to fight it in the USA. Tis the price you pay to be free from a psychopath.

so.........is this the "terrible twos" or the "rebelious teen" phase? I know they all leave the nest sooner or later, but are we ever really ready?

I am confused. What does this have to do with Iraq's leader? How has Iraq "bit the hand that freed"?

FWIW Clancy has a novel about the UAR, United Arab Republic . . . Iran and Iraq.

Remember, under Saddam, Iran and Iraq were mortal enemies. Another reason Bush 41 chose not to go into Bahgdad--disturb the balance of power.

Anyone see Ted Koppel's 2 hr documentary on Iran a couple of weeks ago on the Discovery Channel?

Anyone thinking Iran will be an easy target for the US Military, be prepared.

Iran ain't Iraq

The surprize of this by some is amazing. We were not asked to invade and the Iraqi's do not want us running their country. Bush 41 knew this, and his son smooched the pouch.

sorry,off subject.

Ummm..it was IRAN's leader that said this and not IRAQ's. Though this might be true someday, today is not that day.

Maybe we did rod. I was in Stuttgart, Germany from 88-91. Maybe we meet in the Gulf, I was in Halfar Abaton (sp?). The Fort Campbell 91-92, our battalion moved to Fort Hood 92-93. That covers the early 90's for me.
