Is a 1968, Johnson 33hp Worth the Trouble?

I've got a fresh water '68 or so, 33hp Johnson in storage.<br />Would it be worth the trouble of rebuilding the carb and getting it running again?<br />It hasn't had any significant hours put on it for over 12 years, and it is in resonably good shape, no pitting or compression problems.<br /><br />Thanks for any info, Bobby.

TankeeFan, Why not.Rebuiling carbs is an easy job.Make sure you have a manual to walk you through the steps.

I don't know if this will help but, boatingsolutions.com lists a carb rebuild kit for 28-35 hp for less than $10. There must be other sites out there with similiar options.
