My canvas wrapped Isinglass panels developed a hard maroon colored substance around where the Isinglass meets the canvas. My boat guy says it looks like fungus. How do I clean this?!!?? If it were home I would use a vinegar or similar product but harsh chemicals are no good for Isinglass. Thanks!

How about bleach? I have heard that automotive antifreeze kills dry rot fungus. I have never tried it.

Bleach may work but it might also destroy the isinglass also. Boating creates the strangest issues

Are you sure it is Fungus/Mold?
Where are you located?
Many areas are already in the Pollen Season. Many Pollens are Red/Orange/Maroon.
Try Soap and water first.

The panels were stored indoors and it was apparent upon inspecting them for the spring. What are the best products and where to get them?
