I agree with roscoe, do nothing with it, send it back, get refund from PayPal. That's horrible!!

Send it back.

Anything you do to try to flatten it, they will say caused the damage.

Put in vinyl, then have a custom snap in piece of carpet made to go over it for when you have people sitting up there..

They sent him new carpeting and he gets to keep the old stuff along with some hinges. It's a non issue at this point....

Glad they are taking care of you.

Since you can keep the carpet try wetting it, staple one end to a pc of plywood, and iron it flat. A hair drier or heat gun will help soften the bad wrinkles. Once you get it flat stretch it out and staple the other end to the plywood. May need to repeat if its still bad.

I too have bought from cabelas and everything was right as rain, Rolled neet and clean and has held up very well I might add. Going on thr rod locker, love well and front and rear decks.
