Wow, that's a nice setup. Makes me want to run out and buy a bunch of stuff, extra battery (And I already have 2, LOL!!) underwater lights, and the babe on the sundeck!! (I have one of those too I guess, but like the battery, I guess you can't have too many!!);)

...and the babe on the sundeck!!

Shes my favorite boat accessory too ;)

I'm thinking of having SeaDek make some custom pads for the cockpit area too, in place of the current snap in berber carpet. The carpet looks great and feels good under foot, but I think I'm just too obsessive about keeping things clean and I would have some sort of breakdown if it got stained. I'll probably decide once I see how my swim platform pad comes out. Based on the price of the swim platform piece, I'm sure a full cockpit worth of SeaDek would not be cheap..

Most recent additions:

4 blade 21 pitch Solas prop, and a Skeggard to ward off the evil St. Lawrence river rocks as best as possible (plus, I like the way it looks :) ). The factory (now spare) prop was a volvo 23 pitch 3 blade. I lost a few (3ish?) mph off the top but the time to plane and lower cruise I get with the 4 blade more then worth it to me, I dont do much running at WOT anyway. Between the 4 blade prop and smart tabs I have virtually no bow rise anymore when getting on plane.

scuffbuster XL, cause the trailer bow roller was raising hell with the factory pin striping (which is a decal)

I just use my android phone with MX Mariner as my GPS... works good, just have to deal with the small display. In the thousand islands, only the foolish run without charts.. the shoals are killer.

Anyway, don't feel bad Phil.. I could keep adding stuff to my boat for a few years and not match the investment you have in your Checkmate :)

I tried the phone thing for navigation, but my bbery is company issued, free, and it sux. I don't feel like getting my own phone when the current phone and service is free!

The Garmin with G2 Vision card is quite impressive, as the charts are overlayed on it! I have charts, but am surprised by how much I like the new G2 Vision upgrade.

I have been thinking about tabs...

A picture of the LED lighting with some proper resolution, taken last night:

The fishes were intrigued by my transom lights, kinda fun to watch them.

Hey, Watertown, my hometown. Canoe pt/Picnic pt, both nice areas on Grindstone. We usually stay on an island in Eel Bay right across from Canoe Pt. .. Hear the water level is low... Beautiful boat you got there, nice lights...like your upgrades..

So my swim platform pad from SeaDek showed up about a month ago, but it was just a day or so before I had to head down to Georgia for some training. Got back this week, and put it on this morning... Fits perfect and looks great (I think). Check it out:

I would completely recommend SeaDek to anyone, they do great work. My particular pad is snow camo over black with the manufacturer logo option. I am so pleased with it I am going to replace my snap-in carpeting with SeaDek in the cockpit.

The water is very low! I couldn't launch at Grass Point SP today it was so low... I've never seen so much ramp exposed there. Gonna have to move my launch point over to Keewaydin I think.

Got a warm enough day to install the SeaDek cockpit pads I had made a few months ago. Snow Camo, same as the swim platform pad, except these are single layer with no black base layer.

So that's how she'll sit until the summer of 2014. I'm headed back to Afghanistan pretty soon so the boat wont be used at all next year.

They were around $200 each, from imarine USA. They had the best price at the time, although I think the price on the 3's has gone down some since Lumitec introduced the new Seablaze X model.

And thanks for the well-wishes, all.

Don't you know every time you post pics it ends up costing me money?? Nice mods.

Thank you for your service. Giving up your time from a nice new boat to serve this country. Stay safe.
