If iBoats is a reputable business that is reasonably competitive (and it is!), the business will thrive on open dialog, regardless of the subject. Both the return on expectation and the quality of service(s), far out weigh lower prices in establishing customer loyalty. Restricting discussions reduces the quality of the service of that is these forums and these forums are the gateway to future retail sells.<br /><br />It is policy that we ask members not to promote or recommend the competition. Do you find that unreasonable?
There is never an excuse for a moderator to post sarcasm or belittling comments. That will do more to preclude retail purchases than any open discussion will.We moderate more than 100,000 posts a year. There are certain to be occasions when you, or someone else don't like what we do, and there are certain to be mistakes made by moderators.
