no it looks clear
made sure the pin hole in the housing wasnt blocked and still running hot on starboard side.
i ran hose water thru the outlet of head and the water went thru fine. all the visible holes look clear. the head gasket was on right . when at idle the port side water flow comes out like a garden hose on your house taking up the whole ID of the hose. The starboard side when the water is coming out it only take up half of the ID of the hose if that makes sense.
Could the oil not be mixing properly with the gas and having the starboard side run too lean and getting too hot.
I did partially plug the port side and the water didn’t really seem to flow any harder in the starboard side. I’m new to outboards so I don’t know if the water pressure On starboard side is a normal flow.
If it is a normal flow than could something else be causing it to run hot?
If I pulled the power head off could there be blocked holes underneath?
Would running a solution thru the engine help clean out anything that could be there?
I thank you all for helping.
