Hi guys.

So I have this used Johnson 25 hp that came with a 13' whaler.... trying to get everything ready to go fishing.

I'm not the greatest mechanic so want to make sure everything is as solid as it can be before taking her out into deep blue looking for fish.

Had a hard time getting her to start after sitting a few months, so changed the spark plugs. (they were bad)
Also changed impellar/water pump. also worn down. The johnson mechanic changed up my lower unit oil and seal.
I decarbed the built up carbon in it with some sea foam.... now the only thing I'm concerned about is the stuttering. I took a video if you have time to check...., can you please check and share your expertise to see if everything is dialed in correctly. Should I be concerned about the stuttering, or am I overly careful before taking her out?

Thanks to everyone that helped!

Does not seem to be any problems, but next time you want to test the engine before going out, run in a barrel and not on muffs. You need correct exhaust back pressure.

Roger that on the barrel.

Thanks for the reassurance on the engine. Will take her out only in the shallows for a test run first.
