Have a 2000 Johnson 9.9 that the dirt dabbers built a nest in the carburetor, tore engine down cleaned everything, new car kit, now engine will run fine but will not idle. Any suggestions?
On the carb, would want to remove the plastic top, and clean all the openings under there (soft wire or monofilament followed by carb spray using the plastic nozzle). Be a good idea to soak it in cleaner first.
