Looks nice, colour seems familiar, did you borrow it from the latest Ford Falcon FG range by any chance?

Do you have any pics of building the mold for the hatch? I need one for an anchor rode compartment. I have another boat with to use as the mold.

Don't take this wrong but that hast to be the second ugliest boat on the planet I LOVE IT. Only thing around here that ugly is a '70's house boat that I have trying to buy for two years.

Looks Great keep it up

i just made my mold from cardboard then painted it with enamel ( don't do that) then applied a fiber glass release agent and job was done. the enamel crinkled up with the resin and it took for ever to get clean. if you have anther boat to use just make sure the part you are going to take the mold from in smooth and clean (shiner the better as this also helps the release) then apply your release agent and of you go

Very nice! Great choice on the blue. So is it the middle of summer down there in OZ? When are you shooting to get it finished and in the water?

Oh-my-god is that one of the coolest looking boats I've seen.

I'm completely failing at two things here -

1.) who ever claimed that it was ugly? Even the light-blue it had faded to was a classic color combination with the white, and the overall cabin looks mean and business-like.

2.) it's calling a 'fisherman,' but that rear area doesn't quite look like enough room, and looks too limited, for fishing. Maybe it's a different type of fishing than I'm used to though.

If Florida didn't have the really nice weather we have, I'd seriously consider refurbishing one of those for my first fiberglass boat project. Very cool. With those lines it would only be cooler if it was entirely flat black and made of radar-absorbing fibers like modern aircraft ;)

I am aiming for next summer. I still have a interior to deck out and also the rear half I will be installing a new floor with a under floor storage unit. and all the wiring and light that I striped out will be replace with new stuff, and its only the start of summer here our summer with all this global warming stuff really only starts to heat up late January early February but disappears by end of march. its like a warm spring now with the occasional 30 degree day thrown in

Good luck finding one in the states, I don't know of any others in Australia, I am trying to find out but know luck as yet, they are a English built boat that is no longer in business, but there are still a few in England of both newer and older models. and as for the size of the rear area, yeah for sure 2 people fishing and it would be full

Well here is my first attempt at applying window tint. each window got better as I went along, considering I had a 5 year old and a 3 year old crowding around me

This vessel is beautiful. Plenty of room for fishing. All you need is a place to stand and hang a line over the side. You're going to have a cool boat, I'd love to have one.

Re: just sharing a bit of work (pictures)

well just some more pictures. roof rail. bow rail and the tinted windows are in. I am just not sure what I am going to put around the windows at this stage, don't know whether I want to stick with the original window frames or find something a little smoother and modern
