the narrows between boulder basin and virgin basin.

we use a garmin hand held etrax vista and a couple of garmin rino 130s

we used them snowmobileing, 4-wheeling and boating and they have served us well over the years and done every thing we needed.

ahh okay...thats right. ive only been thru those once about 15 yrs ago. That would be a cool trip though it sounds like. i almost bought a water gps, but then the software was like another 100 bucks on top of it so i said nope it can wait. plus i had a hard time picking one. we find cool spots out there and i wanna be able to record them for next time ya know? well all in all it was another good time...like i say, we had more fun than we would have at home lol.

we just set way points on ours and then save them on the coumputer when we get home. then dump the memory on the gps.
if we go back we load that map back to the gps and all the way points come with it.
that way we always have plenty of memory in the hand helds[never had a problem with enough memery
the newer garmins are now using memory cards and are even more user freindly.
