My first boat a 61 18ft Cutter name was BLU LUNCH is what my 8 year son did the first time on the saltwater. He told my wife he didn't catch much fish but he blew lunch because of the waves. It stuck me funny and the old boat had the name proudly done in 6 inch blue letters across the back....Ted

My first boat, which is my current boat, was given to me so I named her "Free Bee".

Now that I have invested the dollars to restore her I may have to reconsider the name.

My arkasas traveler had a name painted ont he side of it. It was called "The Ripple". Well, i thought that this was a pretty stupid name. And with how unreliable that boat was, i affectionatly re-named it "The Cripple" :D

And then the winner i had also had a name on it. It was written in those stick on letters. It was called "Firststep". Well, after it sunk, it was renamed "Laststep" :D

These names are great. I was thinking about buying a boat from a guy. It was a blue and yellow bayliner and he had named it Wet Dream and his dad had named his boat Wet Dream II

Dumbest name I ever saw was "6-Pack" with a mug-of-beer-sticker besides. Around here, that's DNRese for "Pull alongside and check for open intoxicants".

Our runabout is unofficially called "Smokey *****" because I mixed up the wrong fuel/oil ratio once and the name just stuck.

Last summer we had our first child(also the first grandchild on both sides) so we ended buying a 21" cabin cruiser. Would like to call it "The Second Grandchild" just to tick off the in laws as they keep asking when we will have more!
