Dutchess was an incredible water dog. She once towed me back to shore from almost 100 yards.
She didn't chase sticks in the water. She wanted logs.
She would swim under water to grab rocks the size of her head and place them on the shore.
My theory was she was laying out a message to the "mother ship".

She passed in my arms on January 4th, 2010.

I had a Chow Chow just like this one. I sure do miss ya ... Midnight.

He was a water loving dog. I couldn't keep him out of the lake.

Annie a lab mix, a dumped in the country stray.

Franklin a beagle/ boxer mix, maybe with a touch of pit bull thrown in?
Also a orphan, rescued from a shelter.

They both love water and boats.

Here's the little black dog that showed up out of nowhere at our camp in the woods, with no collar, no chip and no place to go. He also has heartworms. Needless to say, he has a happy home now. The tail is always wagging.

Picked these two up last summer from a farm. They seem to be adapting to indoor life rather well.

1/2 Boxer for sure, 1/2 ? (could be lab) she loves the boat and the water. She's a very good, fast swimmer. Really a great dog.

Actually, he's a very tall lab. He's always weighed close to 100, he's a biggun.
