Re: Looking out your front porch.

I see 120 acres of "unimproved" rangeland, 3 horses and occasional deer, coyote, armadillo and misc. wildlife.

I would like it better if it was about 30* warmer and the sun was shining.

Snow is okay in pictures and on Xmas cards, but not up close and personal.

I see around 1/4 of an igloo I had promised my eight-year-old son I'd help him build. He shovels the powder into a rubbermaid bin, I stomp it down. With any luck, we'll be done by June.

Re: Looking out your front porch.

Okay, here's a few pics...nothing exciting though...just as cold without the white stuff.
I panned from left to right so you could see everyone's stuff in their driveways. Although difficult...1st pic - toon tarped up and a wood catamaran, 2nd - 26' Trojan that needs restoration - 3rd, my McKee tarped up and the 40 hp Merc I'm working on (just found the wiring harness after 4-5 months:)). If I give directions to the house to someone I don't like - I etll 'em too look for a boat in the driveway.:D
I was gonna walk across the street and take a pic of the river, but it's 20 degrees and I was in a T-shirt.

Re: Looking out your front porch.

I've got -4 Celsius with all this snow.:D
I'm not real sure how that coverts. I guess about 30 or 31 F.

Thats what I always loved about driving the big rig to Canada, it was governed at 67mph, but in Canada it would go a little over 100kmh...;)

Wished it was just cold and no snow at my place.

And I tell everyone to look for the dumptruck at the end of my driveway.
