Re: Low Oil Light
If you haven't run the engine yet you'll want to disconnect the fuel line nearest the vro pump and after mixing 50:1 in fuel tank pump the primer ball until you can detect a hint of oil in the fuel before the pump. Then reconnect fuel line. This will assure that the engine will not be initially starved of oil on startup after the disabling procedure. You'll also want to insure that the overheat alarms are still operable by locating the two tan temp sensor leads at the top of each cylinder bank and with the key in the "on"position ,(engine not running)ground them one at a time to the block metal and verify that the overheat alarm and or light comes on.You can either peel back the insulation on the tan wire connector or back probe the tan wire connector with a piece of wire to perform the test.
