Hi everybody...
Isn't boating fun until your broke?
One question, I've been trying to remove the dreaded lower swivel pin on a 1992 Bravo 1 outdrive so I can remove the gimbel ring. I've soaked it with Kroil and tried lite heat and it doesn't seem to want to move. So to the question is the pin a aluminum alloy or stainless? It appears soft because when using a screwdriver in the lower slot the driver starts opening the slot larger but I would think if it was aluminum it would not last long.
The reason for the question is because I'm thinking about cutting the pin top and bottom to remove it.
Thanks Tom
