My 1987 Sylvan is a former camp boat and has seen as much TLC as you would expect for a camp boat LOL! It is pretty rough!

I was thinking of calling it Pond Scum

My boyfriend suggested Trailer Trash

... but I love my ratty old Sylvan and just couldn't do that to it so it got named Privateer

Ours is Red Rocket.

Our boat is also red and I couldn't think of a funnier name "Red Dragon".

Will Ferrel in "Old School", revving his red Camaro in the driveway, smokin' the neghborhood. with Whitesnake blasting on the sound system,
"...took off the restrictor plate to give the Red Dragon a little more juice, let's keep that on the down-low, it's not exactly street legal.....Hey Mike (waves to his neghbor)"

I had a sailboat that was pimped out inside that i called "Offshore Driller." Quite embarassing explaining that name to dates.

I saw a 33' carver on a trailer in st croix WI with the name "Lucky Lady" it had a hole in the bow about the size of a car tire... not sure what thats supposed to be a sign of for them...

So what boat names have you seen that were unusual enough you remembered them. A few I've seen...

A low profile painted a powder blue with a BIG block named, "Blew By U".

A 32' cabin crusier named, "Anchor Management".

An all time favorite on 22' Ski Boat, "Yes Dear".

Figures...I think my boat name is Unique and I go to the memorable boat names thread and its in the first friggin post!
I do have to say though we came up with it ourselves and never heard of it before and named to boat in april 2007.

I haven't named my boat yet (it's only been 23 years), but I have thought of a few names.

1. NOT AGAIN!! (or KNOT AGAIN!!. Both too common)
2. Son-of-a-&^%$#!!
3. DAMNIT!!
4. Breaking Out (as in another thou)
5. [Bleep Bleep]
6. $ Hit
7. $ Pit

I'm kinda partial to #3 at the present moment.

My wife is tall and lean and I've called her "Stick" since the day I met her. Hence, I named our 37 Carver "Stick's Competition"

My brother (electrician) went the easy way out with "Service Call". Now, when people need him on a Suday, he's already out on a Service Call.

That is what the clown named it. In an area with close to 9% unemployment. Hope he never needs help from any of the locals.
