Re: Memorable Boat names you have seen

I saw a big (around 30') boat being pulled down the expressway yesterday with the name "Bottoms Up" across the back. I just seemed like a bad omen to name your boat that.

We named the fishing boat 'Pole Dancer'
Picture037-1-1.jpg

My 21' is called 'Hot Spot' and the Family's 3200 Martinique was originally owned by Mike Holmgren bought new after he took the Packers to (and won) the Super Bowl in 1997. Kind of a cool story behind that one.

Seen some cool ones on Lake Mi, though. One was called 'My Last Boat IV' which was kinda funny. 'Fraid Knot' is the name a friend calls his boat. 'Hakuna Matata' 'Fishin Magician'.....which has been beaten to death in my opinion. 'Chasin' Tail' will probably be my next.

Re: Memorable Boat names you have seen

We are dog lovers, our current boat is red, kindof fast, and wifey is a Russian speaker.....so we named the boat КРАСНАЯ РАКЕТА. For those who don't speak Russian, that means Red Rocket....and in that language, rocket is feminine gender....so it works on a few different levels. We can't register the boat with the Coast Guard with that name, but am going to keep it anyway.

It's hilarious to watch someone who has obviously been drinking do a double take at the transom.

Being an Avid Fisherman. I named my Two boats, The Fish Easy and the Fish-O. A few names that I saw last year, and really liked " The Wet Dream", "Wet Willy", "Bobr Down", and "Can you Jig it":D

Just thought of three more:
Consultation Seas
Party Marti
"Marti" Gras

The last two are because the boat is a Martinique

On a 17' 40hp fiberglass oldschool johnson : "Back 40"

This was years ago, but "Brittany Spears" - I don't know if its creative, stupid, or what. Somewhere between "Oops I did it again" and you can imagine the innuendo.

"Wet Dream" as well. on the Connecticut river in MA. its even more funny because this guy owns a small bass style boat 16'??? with a huge outboard i think its either a 200 or 250 the thing is massive, im pretty sure its too big for the boat because the bow just points in the sky and bounces up and down slapping the water...either that or the guy doesnt know how to use his trim.

its a blue boat so we just call the guy Viagra. as the guy clearly has some issues... at least his boat does. just points in the sky...pun intended

Re: Memorable Boat names you have seen

Buying my dad's old boat in May. The guy who owns it is a family friend, and named it bluntly, "454 Inside". I haven't thought of a good father-to-son name, so for the time being I've decided to rename her "Entirely Excessive"... because what's not entirely excessive about a $3000 20 footer packing 400hp that will go 70?
