im not so sure mike i was told it would cost $25 so I paid it. I did send him a later e-mail saying that i didn't mind paying a little extra to have it shipped quicker.....no patience..lol

Im back...and...and....I can hardly contain myself! Woo Hoooooooooooooooooooooooo! Its running, what a bloody good feeling(am i alowed to say bloody)....Dam i said it twice!

Thanks soooo much guys, I cannot describe the feeling i got when that beautiful 1150 "ROARED" into life this afternoon, there was hi 5's all round amongst the 1150 task force lol. It seems to be running fantastic however it will not idle when the throttle is fully closed. I cannot believe just how smooth it runs though when you pick it up 1-200 rpm.

I have a couple of small issues, im not happy with the strength of the pee stream and there is water leaking from around the water seal at all the plugs????

Hit me with some all inspiring wisdom gentlemen....Its party time!!

Thanks all who have helped me, especially achris and phatmanmike!!

Stan.........

It was the switchbox after all and I was fortunate enough that the box I purchased from ebay was a goer! $30odds for a working switchbox...got to be a bargain!

Anyways I want to be doing all I can to optimise the engines mechanicals before I attempt to make any adjustments on the carbs and timing. I did notice that the timing belt was quite loose...is this normal?

I intend to replace the impeller and service the fuel pumps. What else should i be doing??

'Loose' belt is normal. Because it's toothed it doesn't need the tension of a v-belt.

While you're changing the impeller and fuel pump diaphrams, change the gear lube too. Have a good look at the old stuff that comes out, it'll tell you a lot about what's going on in there.

Chris.............

Edit.. Now would be a good time to start a new thread :D (put a link to it at the end of this one). Something like "115 running, what now?"
