Re: MerCruiser 165 250 c.i. GM Motor Starting Problems
Well the good news is I tore the carb apart, and I did notice that a few sections of the carb were loose. Which I'm strongly thinking right now that the whole problem could be with the carb. I'm going to get the gasket kit on Friday, and hopefully after it is put back together I'll put it on the water and see what will happen. I think this could solve some of the problems. I'm also going to put a new fuel line on as well from the fuel pump to the carb, and lets hope for the best right now. Now if there is still other problems with it in the water then we have the rest of the list to go through.
