What transmission are you wanting? I saw you identify a Velvet-drive and another poster mentioned V-Drive. As they are different and require a 180 degree engine orientation, I assume you would want a Velvet-drive with a straight shaft. Let me know what gear ratio you are looking for as i have access to 6-8 different BW transmissions around here.
The reason the 470 inboard was produced for such a short time was that it made the transmission noisy at idle and just above.
Reason was the pulses and inherent vibration of an inline 4 "rattled" the gears in the trans. Don't recall if it caused any trans failures, was just objectionable from the customers' feedback.
